About 846 Syrian Refugees Enter Jordan During The Past 48 Hours


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) man April 22 - A total of 846 Syrian refugees mostly women children and the elderly crossed the borders into Jordan through various illegal border points during the past 48 hours. Jordanian border guards stationed along the 376-kilometre long border between Jordan and Syria made available to the refugees with advanced transit facility Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported. Earlier Sunday a total of 1264 Syrian refugees mostly women children and the elderly entered the Kingdom through various border points during the past 72 hours. A military source on Sunday said that border guards stationed along the border between Jordan and Syria received the refugees and provided emergency aid to the injured before transferring them to the Zaatari Refugee Camp.
