Russia and Iran to Discuss Nuclear Program

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) scow April 22 - Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif held Tuesday an official round of talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on the sidelines of the ministerial conference of the five Caspian littoral countries. They discussed bilateral relations and the latest regional and international developments. Zarif said yesterday that the Iranian and Russian administrations were in continuous talks regarding the 5+1 meetings which deals with Iran's nuclear weapon program and cooperation in regional affairs. Zarif said that in addition to discussing the progress of the 5+1 meetings with Lavrov he will also discuss developments in Syria and Afghanistan.
