(MENAFN) India"s biggest steelmaker SAIL has recently announced its plan to provide steel worth USD247.88 crore through an agreement to help Iran build a railroad network in Tehran, according to Iran Daily.
The agreement is expected to be signed this week after a visit by an Indian delegation to Tehran.
Iran had sought Indian investment for expanding its railroad network and needs about 3 million tons of steel rails to connect all major cities, industrial centers and also ports for faster evacuation of goods.
