(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) ha April 22 - Qatar Fuel (Woqod) will reconvene here on April 29 to discuss and approve the company's financial results for the first quarter of 2014 the company said in a statement. The company's board of directors held a meeting chaired by HE Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani here Monday afternoon. Woqod Chief Executive Officer Engineer Ibrahim Jaham Al Kuwari said "The board decided to postpone the discussion and approval of financial results for the first quarter to April 29." The board has approved the implementation of Woqod's projects he said and added "the company is currently involved in implementing more than 35 projects 14 of which are on-going while the other are in design tendering and approval stages." Woqod's total volume sales of petroleum products - diesel gasoline and jet fuel - reached 1640 million litters this year an increase by 9.5% compared to the same period last year.
