Moderate Earthquake Hits Luzon in Philippines


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) ala Lumpur April 22 - A moderate earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale hit Luzon in the Philippines on Tuesday morning the Malaysian Meteorological Department said. The quake's epicentre was 39km southwest of Vigan City Philippines and 1221 km northeast of Kudat Sabah it said in a statement. It added the quake did not pose any tsunami threat.
