Kuwait's Jazeera profit up 42 percent in Q1


MENAFN) Kuwait-based Jazeera Airways Group has recently posted a 42 percent rise in net profit reaching USD7.462 million in the first quarter of 2014, while revenues fell, according to the Emirates 24/7. The company's operating profit fell by 37.6 percent to reach USD9.949 million, while revenues shrank by 6.1 percent to USD49.03 million. Jazeera Airways Group Chairman Marwan Boodai said: "Our results this year constitute the highest Q1 earnings in the history of the Group, second to only 2013"s Q1 results, which was an exceptional quarter as we reported last year."
