Tokyo Stocks Rise Modestly in Morning in Thin Trading
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) kyo April 22 - Tokyo stocks staged a modest rebound Tuesday morning following overnight gains in US shares but overall trading remained thin due to upcoming corporate earnings reports. The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average rose 44.14 points or 0.3 percent from Monday to 14556.52 according to Japan's (Kyodo) News Agency. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was up 2.14 points or 0.18 percent to 1173.54.
