Saudi- Tighter security for gold shops
(MENAFN- Arab News) The civil defense has developed a new comprehensive strategy to enhance safety and security at gold workshops in jeddah said brig. salim matrafi director of the civil defense department in jeddah during a meeting held recently at the jeddah chamber of commerce and industry (jcci).
the meeting also included jcci assistant secretary-general muhiydeen bin yahya and mujahid sharif deputy director of safety management at jeddah's civil defense as well as other dignitaries businessmen and officers.
'the civil defense continues to enhance services across multiple sectors such as industrial commercial and tourism through the development of mechanisms equipment and contacts" said sharif.
'gold workshops should not allow any safety or security loopholes and ensure that they acquire advanced technical and security permits in accordance with the law" he said.
the civil defense has devised this new strategy in collaboration with official bodies in order to enhance trade while boosting security.
