(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) ghdad April 21 -At least ten people were killed and 32 others injured on Monday in a car bomb near a police checkpoint southern Baghdad. A bomber blew himself up in his vehicle targeting a police checkpoint in Al-Suwayrah Wasit province southern Baghdad killing 10 Iraqis and injuring 32 others a police source said here today. Among the injured were eight policemen the source added. Moreover the explosion caused heavy damage to nearby vehicles. Al-Suwayrah was rocked by four car bomb explosions a week ago which left at least 40 people dead and injured scores of others.
