(MENAFN) US carmakers have recently announced their interest in investing in the Russian market in their next big frontier, according to Iran Daily.
Experts said that Russia is a large and important market for carmakers.
John Branch, a professor at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, said: "The Russian market is going to be larger than Germany."
Branch said the structure of the Russian auto industry is in flux, as the demand for imports increases despite barriers imposed by the Russian government.
