(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) ha April 21 - Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend on Monday adding 189.59 points (1.51%) to advance to 12768.17 points from 12578.58 on Sunday. The volume of the shares traded up to 58454239 from 31538028 on Sunday and the value of shares increased to QR1718332581.17 from QR1095408657.12 Sunday. Among the top gainers were Qatar Insurance which was up 3.36% to QR77.00 Masraf Al Rayan gained 5.15% to QR51.00 Vodafone Qatar added 9.96% to QR17.99 and Mazaya Qatar up by 3.46% to QR21.85. The Banking and Financial sector index was gained 1.15% while Consumer Goods and Services sector index up 0.20%. The industrial sector was added 0.70% while insurance sector dropped 2.09%.
