S. Korea's exports up 2.2 percent in Q1


(MENAFN) South Korea has posted a record high in its exports in the first quarter of 2014 on more shipments to European countries and emerging markets, according to Qatar News Agency. The country's exports were estimated at USD138.2 billion during the quarter, or 2.2 percent higher than the same quarter 2013. The figure marks the highest-ever amount for the first quarter. Also trade volume for the quarter boosted to a record high reaching USD132.4 billion in imports.
