Fixed phone subscribers in Oman up 0.7 percent


(MENAFN) The number of subscribers in fixed phone services in Oman increased 0.7 percent at end of February, Times of Oman reported. The number of subscribers rose from 351,411 at the end of 2013 to 353,953 at the end February. Figures by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) show that the number of subscribers of billed fixed phone services and pre-paid fixed phone services hit 273,858 and 26,010, respectively. The number of public phones across Oman came at 6,801, while the number of integrated service digital networks (ISDN) hit 45,464.
