Japan's deficit hits USD134bn


(MENAFN) Japanese Finance Ministry said that the country has registered a USD134.24 billion trade deficit in the financial year which ended last month, Xinhua reported. According to a report issued by the ministry, exports jumped by 10.5 percent compared to the previous year, hitting USD69.14 billion, while imports increased by 17.3 percent to reach USD82.56 billion. Last month, trade balance deficit stood at USD14.16 billion dollars, marking 21 straight months of deficit.
