(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Egypt's Presidential Election Committee said Sunday the door before candidates wishing to run for presidential elections has been closed with only two candidates running.
Former Defense Minister Field Marshal Abdulfattah Al-Sisi and Hamdeen Sabbahi were the only candidates for the May 26-27 elections, Committee Secretary General Justice Abdulaziz Salmam told a news conference.
He said the committee approved six international NGOs to monitor the presidential elections.
