Parts of Oman likely to receive rain today


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Several coastal areas of Muscat governorate are likely to experience light to moderate rainfall from Monday afternoon, according to the Directorate General for Meteorology and Air Navigation (DGMAN).

A senior official from DGMAN said, ''The latest spell of rainfall is due to low pressure in the sea and change in season.''

She said that areas around the Al Hajar mountains are expected to witness moderate to heavy rainfall as well.

The official said that there could be drop in day temperatures. ''Several governorates including Musandam, North and South Batinah, Buraimi, Dhahirah, Dakhliyah, and North and South Sharqiyah are also likely to receive light rain.''<
