Yemeni Judges Strike Enters Fourth Week


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) na'a April 20 - Yemeni judges and prosecutors' strike staged to protest the repeated aggressions against members and headquarters of judicial authorities today entered its fourth week. The strike which started late in march has completely paralyzed the judicial activity and disrupted the interests of citizens and state agencies related to the performance of the judiciary and its institutions especially in light of the unstable security situation which Yemen is going through. The judges are calling on the he security authorities to provide the necessary security protection for members of the judicial authority and their headquarters to ensure that they will not be exposed to the attacks most notably kidnappings and attacks by insurgents.
