(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) ha April 20 - Qatar Exchange index gained 12.16 points or 0.10% at 3.01pm Sunday at 12563.14 points. The Qatari bourse had closed for the weekend on Thurday at 12550.98 points. The volume of traded shares was down today to 26948703 from the previous close of 37110091. The traded value was down to QR 928456396.77 from the previous close of QR 1238380332.58. The number of trades was down to 10468 from 14405 on Thursday. Banks and financial services index was up by 0.44% to 3096.78 points. Consumer goods and services index was up by 0.39% to 7548.96 points. Industries were up 0.58% to 4377.77 points and real estate index was up by 0.58% to 2479.83. Telecommunications index droped 1.21% to 1691.28 points while transportation index dropped by 0.34% to 2244.72 points. Today nine companies gained 27 dropped and two remained unchanged.
