Four People Killed and 47 Others Injured in Bus Accident in Egypt


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) iro April 20 - At least four people were killed and at 47 others injured Sunday in Egypt when a public bus flipped over on a highway. Al Ahram newspaper reported today that the accident took place in Ras Gharib highway in Al Zaafarana located in the Red Sea Governorate. The Ministry of Health said in a statement today the injuries included bruises bleeding and fractures. Some 41 of those injured were transferred to Ras Gharib General Hospital. The other six were moved to Hurghada General Hospital because their condition were critical the Ministry of Health added. Egypt ranks top in the number of deaths per year due to road accidents.
