Singapore's SCCP to invest in Myanmar hotel project


(MENAFN) Singapore's SCCP Lakeside Company is planning to invest in a three-star hotel project in Myanmar, Xinhua reported. The Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC) granted SCCP for the hotel project in the country's Hlaing Township of Yangon in accordance with the the Foreign Investment Law. The MIC also approved the construction of a 14-storey hotel to be run under the the Myanmar Citizen Investment Law. A total of 26 foreign-invested hotels reside in the country, including the regions of Yangon and Mandalay.
