MoJ issues 3821 official documents for illegal residents


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Kuwait city april 19 (kuna): government manpower and restructuring program (gmrp) has helped provide new jobs for over 1450 kuwaitis who lost their jobs in the private sector after the global economic crisis in 2008.

in a press statement issued saturday head of the gmrp's public relation and media affairs department abdulaziz al-qassar said that about 1450 out of 2320 nationals who were victims to the economic crisis have been reemployed by the gmrp. al-qassar added that the gmrp will invite the remaining nationals who belong to the same category to its headquarters early mary to offer them new job openings.

he reiterated the gmrp's commitment to financially support all nationals who lost their jobs because of the economic crisis and to help them find new jobs.

the gmrp has paid over kd 22.2 million in unemployment benefits for the affected nationals during the period extending from august 2009 till april 2014 al-qassar noted. he pointed out that major world countries only pay unemployment benefits for a maximum period of six months but kuwait pay it for up to 36 months.

the manpower and government restructuring program (gmrp) is a kuwaiti governmental organization under the civil service commission. gmrp is specializes on training finding jobs and encouraging kuwaiti employees to work in the private sector
