(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) shington April 18 - A massive earthquake struck central and southern Mexico Friday morning the US Geological Survey says.The magnitude 7.5 earthquake occurred approximately 30 kilometres north-west of the city of Tecpan in the state of Guerrero. Earthquake alarms went off in Mexico City and thousands of people left their homes and offices in panic. The extent of damage resulting from the quake was still not known.
