(MENAFN - Arab News) Luxgen taiwan's premium automotive brand has arrived in the uae with its range which includes suv and mpv offering top technological features.

'no other vehicle in the market balances style and substance as well as a luxgen. it is a brand for the thinking man and is aimed at people who appreciate unique product offerings incorporating advanced technology." jeffrey chen general manager of international business department luxgen motors told arab news.

'this is hundred percent taiwanese and are stylish and modern representing an unrivaled value proposition" said jeffrey chen.

a highly advanced 2.2-liter turbo-charged engine powers both the suv as well as the mpv. the engine is unique because while it delivers the power of a bigger six-cylinder engine it returns the fuel economy of a smaller four-cylinder unit.

luxgen suv range starts from aed 115000 and luxgen mpv m/l starts at just aed 105000.

'we expect that we can sell at least 100 vehicle in the uae within next 8 months. by december we will launch luxgen v6 saloon cars also" mohamed told arab news.

western auto is a part of eta ascon star group that has presence in saudi arabia qatar india and the uae.

while detailing western auto's performance in saudi arabia sadakkathulla resident director in saudi arabia told arab news that western auto is doing well in saudi arabia.

it has branches in riyadh jeddah dammam yanbu jubail and jazan.

'we sell ashok leyland buses in saudi arabia and currently over 3000 ashok leyland vehicles are there. we will sell another 1000 vehicles by the end of this year."
