BMW Middle East sales up in Q1


(MENAFN) The BMW Group in the Middle East scored unprecedented sales in March and the first quarter of 2014, Times of Oman reported. The UAE topped the list of the Gulf market, with around half of the total sales of BMW Group Middle East. Abu Dhabi continued to be the largest selling market with 2,672 cars sold, increasing 40 percent. Dubai, Sharjah and the other northern Emirates registered 1,392 cars, with an increase of 33 percent. "Achieving our best-ever month in March and best-ever first quarter is an outstanding result." said the director of BMW Group Middle East. Adding "we have the right products with many of them being leaders in their respective categories and strong business partners therefore we are confident that we will achieve great success throughout 2014."
