(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) man April 16 - The Royal Jordanian Air Force on Wednesday destroyed a number of armored vehicles when they attempted to enter into the Kingdom from Syria according to a statement issued by the Jordan Armed Forces. The statement relayed by Petra news agency today said that at about 10.30am local time a number of camouflaged vehicles were spotted by the armed forces as they tried to cross into the Kingdom illegally through a tough terrain. The statement added that the fighter jets fired warning shots but the vehicles did not abide adding that consequently the vehicles were targeted and destroyed by these fighter jets.
