(MENAFNEditorial) Ducab, the Middle East's leading manufacturer of high quality cables and cabling products, has signed on as the platinum sponsor and is a key exhibitor at WETEX 2014 (Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition), which will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre between 14th and 16th April 2014. The annual event is organised by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), a key customer of Ducab and an investor in Ducab's High-Voltage (HV) business.

Although only just entering its third year of operation, Ducab HV has already started investment projects to increase capacity in order to meet the growing demands for its high-quality, locally-manufactured products from customers in the UAE and export markets.
Ducab HV is the first dedicated high voltage and extra high-voltage power cable manufacturing facility in the Middle East. The firm is a joint venture between Ducab, Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA) and Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), a unique partnership that draws on the strength and experiences of all the partners. Established in 2011, Ducab HV areas of operations include cable and accessory supply and installation, technical consulting, training, and state-of-the-art testing facilities.
