Air Arabia takes over as RAK official carrier


(MENAFN) Air Arabia said that it will commence flights from Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) early next month, Arabian Business reported. The Sharjah-based carrier said that it will take over from RAK Airways, which suspended flights early this year, and start flights from the emirate on May 6. Air Arabia signed an agreement with RAK government making it the official carrier for the emirate and RAK airport its new hub. Air Arabia Chief Executive said: "It's (RAK) a growing market and we are all seeing its financial growth."
