Industrial added value in China expands 8.7 percent


(MENAFN) The industrial value added in China grew by 8.7 percent in the first three months of the year, Xinhua reported. The Chinese National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said that the industrial added value increased 0.81 percent in March. The industrial value added is used to measure the business activity of Chinese firms with an annual turnover of USD3.26 million or more. The industrial added value of state-owned enterprises expanded by 4.6 percent in March, while that of joint stock companies grew 10.1 percent.
