(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) nama April 15 -Bahraini Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa met here on Tuesday Viktor Zubkov the Personal Representative of the Russian President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Gazprom Company now visiting Bahrain. During the meeting they discussed ways of activating Bahraini-Russian cooperation in the fields of air transport urban development energy and gas. They also reviewed activating bilateral cooperation in industrial banking and financial fields calling for the need to take advantage of the incentives provided by the two countries to enhance investment and economic collaboration. The Bahraini premier stressed the importance of activating the existing bilateral cooperation agreements signing new ones and launching joint investment projects . He affirmed the kingdom's desire to boost bilateral cultural and tourism cooperation through exchanging the visits of tourism delegations and officials and launching joint projects in this regard. Viktor Zubkov on his part highlighted the importance of stepping up Bahraini-Russian cooperation politically and economically through taking advantage of the two countries's positive and stimulating atmospheres particularly in the economic and investment fields whose way had already been paved by the existing joint agreements
