France aims for below 3 percent deficit in 2015


(MENAFN) The French Finance Minister said that the country is "in action" to stick with the pledged deficit reduction by 2015, Xinhua reported



The country has set a deficit target of below three percent of gross domestic product (GDP) through measures to push economic growth and lower public spending



The minister said: "It is from the moment we are below 3 percent of GDP that we can control the debt and reduced it. The objective is that France is deleveraging.



The French government is aiming to save USD69.14 billion by 2017 through cutting public expenditure
