Tokyo Stocks Bounce Back Tuesday


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) kyo April 15 - Tokyo stocks turned higher Tuesday following recent sharp falls as an overnight rebound in US shares and the yen's depreciation encouraged buying. The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average ended up 86.65 points or 0.62% from Monday at 13996.81 bouncing back from a six-month low hit the previous day (Kyodo) news agency reported. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange finished 3.33 points or 0.29% higher at 1136.09 ending its seven-day losing streak. Gainers were led by steel paper and pulp and information and communication shares
