Jordan's Ambassador to Libya Kidnapped


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) man April 15 - Gunmen kidnapped the Jordanian Ambassador to Libya Fawaz Al-Eitan in the Capital Tripoli on Tuesday. Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs confirmed it had received initial information that the Jordanian Ambassador to Libya Fawaz Al-Eitan was kidnapped. The Ministry's Spokesperson Sabah Al Rafi'i told the official Petra News Agency that concerned authorities were investigating the incident. The Libyan Foreign Ministry said that hooded men travelling in two cars abducted the Jordanian Ambassador in Tripoli on Tuesday. "The Jordanian Ambassador was kidnapped this morning. His convoy was attacked by a group of hooded men on board two civilian cars" Ministry spokesman Said Lassoued said
