Israel Closes Ibrahimi Mosque Next Wednesday and Thursday


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) mallah April 14 -The Israeli occupation authority on Monday decided to close the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron city next Wednesday and Thursday to celebrate their Passover feast Director of Religious Endowments (Waqf) in Hebron Tayseer Abu Sneineh said in a press release relayed by Jordanian Petra news agency. He also noted that the occupation authorities close the Mosque in all Jewish occasions and holidays under the pretext of providing the appropriate environment for the settlers to perform their Talmudic prayers and rituals. Earlier today the Israeli occupation authorities closed Karam Abu Salem commercial crossing in southeast of Gaza Strip for the entrance of goods and aids. Chairman of the Coordinating Committee of Gaza's Supplies Raed Fattouh said that the Israeli authorities informed them that the Karam Abu Salem crossing will be closed on Monday and Tuesday under the pretext of the Jewish holidays. Israel is celebrating today the so-called Passover which lasts for a week and is accompanied by attempts to desecrate Al Aqsa Mosque by Israeli settlers
