(MENAFN Press) Cisco has announced a new suite of high-quality video collaboration solutions, enabling Middle East businesses to effectively and affordably communicate face-to-face across different locations and devices

The news comes as PwC's 2014 Global CEO Survey reports that 78 per cent of Middle East CEOs plan mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, or strategic alliances across the wider region, creating a wave of new collaboration challenges underpinned by increasingly complex global supply chains and mobile workforces. According to Cisco, more than 93 per cent of meeting rooms globally are not equipped with high-quality video

"From sealing a key deal, to planning a presentation, or

Training employees, the Middle East's expanding businesses realize that face-to-face collaboration is vital. Thanks to

Advancements in video technology, businesses of all sizes can use reliable, high-quality, interoperable, scalable, and cost-effective video solutions to collaborate from any location or device. In the near future, video will be the de facto collaboration tool for every conference room." said Wael Hassan, Collaboration Sales Lead for Cisco in the Gulf, Levant, and Pakistan

"In this era of the Internet of Everything (IoE), we believe that video needs to be available everywhere: from the browser to the boardroom to all the spaces in between.

In response to the growing need for video collaboration tools, Cisco has launched three fully-integrated TelePresence systems that combine sleek, award-winning design with a simple and intuitive user experience, enabling people to share video and content in any kind of room

As part of the first phase of a multi-phase collaboration solutions rollout, all solutions will be generally available in the Middle East starting in May 2014

The Right System for Each Meeting Roo

Cisco TelePresence MX200, optimal for smaller rooms, is value-priced to scale, easy to install, and offers premium HD resolution out-of-the-box

Cisco TelePresence MX700 and Cisco TelePresence MX800 represent the performance line, and are ideal for medium- to large-sized rooms. These integrated systems come equipped with premium HD resolution and support H.265, which gives users incredible quality at half of the regularly-needed bandwidth.

Costing less than a desktop computer, Cisco TelePresence SX10 Quick Set builds upon elements that companies have in smaller meeting spaces, especially flat panel displays, to create incredible video meeting spaces. Designed for small-to-medium sized enterprises, the system turns any standard flat panel display into an HD video collaboration system

Cisco TelePresence SX80 is an ideal solution for integrators looking to equip large, unique spaces with video

New Camera Systems Give Everyone a Front-Row Sea

Cisco has also launched two new camera systems that give everyone a front-row seat at the table. The Precision 60 offers the industry's best image quality (1080p60), adapts to varying light conditions, and has a large zoom range to ensure the entire view is captured. The SpeakerTrack 60 uses a dual camera system that intelligently finds and zooms in to the active speaker in larger meeting rooms

"Technology is undoubtedly making it easier to connect and collaborate with colleagues, partners, and customers from any location-whether that's the work office, the home office, a hotel room, or a coffee shop. Reliable, high-quality, interoperable video-as opposed to video that's webcam-based, unreliable or incapable of scaling-plays a significant role in the collaboration mix," concluded Hassan.
