Beijing high-end residential market drops in Q1

(MENAFN) Sales in Beijing's high-end residential market dropped both in volume and price during the year's first quarter, Xinhua reported

DTZ, a leading real estate consulting firm, said that the sale drop provides evidence of a slowdown in the housing market

During the quarter, the average high-end housing price in Beijing fell 5.45 percent from the quarter before, but was up 13.26 percent from the corresponding period a year ago

DTZ reported that the Chinese Lunar New Year holiday and the tightening of credit pulled the transaction volume and price in Beijing
