Iranian Foreign Minister Visits UAE


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) hran April 14 - Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is due to arrive in Abu Dhabi on Monday to attend the 2nd Joint Iran-UAE High Economic Commission there. The expert-level meeting presided by Iranian and UAE deputy foreign minister will open in Abu Dhabi on Monday in order to study the development trend for the expansion of relations and implementation of bilateral agreements. A set of bilateral agreements will be signed by Iranian and UAE foreign ministers. Holding regular meetings of joint economic council provides opportunities for the two countries to review the current status of relations and plan for removal of obstacles and facilitate cooperation according to Iran's (IRNA) News Agency. Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian left for Abu Dhabi on Sunday to attend the 2nd Iran-UAE High Commission. Amir-Abdollahian told (IRNA) that the expert meeting of the Commission will convene both Monday morning and afternoon where representatives of the private and public sectors and Tehran and Abu Dhabi Chambers of Commerce will take part. The expert meeting will draft documents and agreements due to be signed by the two sides on Tuesday in presence of foreign ministers
