(MENAFN- Arab Times) Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has won the prestigious "Innovative Product of the Year" award from Cards International for the product "Wave and Transfer" which was launched in November 2013. Salem Al-Duwaisan, Senior Manager, Card support at KFH said after receiving the award in Dubai at the Prepaid Middle East Awards Ceremony sponsored by Visa, that winning this award underlines KFH's leading role in the market as the pioneer in offering innovative products that cater to clients' needs, meet their aspirations, add value to the market, and spur the market to further innovate and compete for the benefit of the comprehensive development in economy
He added that this award highlights KFH's excellence on the level of banking industry in Kuwait and the region, and KFH wouldn't have won such award if it hadn't reflected positive results and huge turnout. Moreover, Al-Duwaisan elucidated that "Wave and Transfer" process steps are easy, where Al-Osra Prepaid card primary holder should sign-in to KFH Online application and then choose "Wave and Transfer" service among the services list. Secondly, the Supplementary device should only open KFH Online Application and chooses WAVE option from the main page.
Thirdly, both devices should also be waved simultaneously within a range of 3 meters in order to let the primary device detect the supplementary device. And fourthly, the primary cardholder should then register and assign the supplementary cardholder device to his prepaid account for the 1st time only. He said that this is initially launched for Al-Osra prepaid cardholders and studies are underway to expand to other segment of Prepaid Cards. Al-Osra is family expense cards where the package can have one main card and up to six related prepaid supplementary cards where the main card holder will be able to transfer funds to the related cards accounts
Al-Duwaisan added that KFH is delighted to be the winner of this prestigious "Innovative Product of the Year" from Cards International.
