(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) ha April 13 - Director-general of the Cultural Village (Katara) Dr. Khalid Al Sulaiti met here today with Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Qatar Dr.Tawfiq Abdullayev.... who visited Katara to discuss means of achieving cultural cooperation between the two sides. During the meeting they discussed means of achieving cultural cooperation to shed light on the Azeri culture. The Ambassador expressed great admiration over the cultural village's architectural design and readiness to revitalize cultural relations between the two sides. For his part Dr. Al Sulaiti confirmed that Katara has been making efforts to establish a cultural ground with different peoples through such meetings which acquaint with diversified activities from various continents in addition to being a lighthouse for cultural culture and openness toward different cultures. Earlier in the day Dr. Al Sulaiti met with the Cultural Attache at the Yemeni Embassy Safwat Al Ghasham to disused a host of issues including the civilizational and cultural history of Yemen and the possibility of organizing a joint activity in Katara
