(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) wait April 13 -Kuwait will host on Wednesday a meeting of Ministers of Endowments of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Arab States. Minister of Justice and Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Dr. Nayef Al-Ajmi said Sunday that the upcoming GCC awqaf ministers' meeting the first such a meeting to be held in Kuwait is designed to establish a think-tank for promoting the endowment culture in the GCC. The meeting also aims to intensify joint efforts to hammer out a strategic plan for the GCC Islamic Affairs Ministries to bolster role of the endowment as a means of social solidarity and charity work in the GCC countries Al-Ajmi said in press statement issued here Sunday. Future aspirations and the current events require GCC joint work to safeguard the Gulf identity and citizenship as well as to promote intellectual moderation he added
