(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) As many as 396 infiltrators of various nationalities were arrested in March from across the sultanate by ROP in coordination with other security agencies, an official said.
The official added that 417 were deported during the month after completion of the necessary legal procedures and coordination with concerned embassies.

Theft accused, absconding maids held at border post in Oman
Officials at the Wadi Jizi post have arrested an Asian wanted in a theft case in Muscat governorate. A Buraimi Police Command official said that the accused was arrested while trying to leave the country through the border post.
Checks on his records at the border revealed that he was wanted. Two absconding housemaids were also arrested. Checks revealed that complaints had been filed against them in the wilayat of Mudhaibi. They were sent to the North Sharqiyah Police Command.
