Uproar in Sindh PA over bogus appointments


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The sindh assembly turned into a fish market on friday as harsh words were exchanged between the members of the pakistan people?s party and the muttahida qaumi movement (mqm) during the session

The assembly session witnessed chaos as opposition parties led by the mqm protested against what they called ‘bogus’ appointments by the ppp’s provincial government.


The house echoed with slogans of ‘shame shame’ as acting speaker shehla raza appealed opposition members to keep the house in order.


In the question hour mqm’s faisal sabzwari speaking in the house raised questions as why the government has not removed those responsible for bogus appointments in sindh education department.


Sindh education minister nisar khuhro said that former president and army chief pervez musharraf had also called the people of sindh ineligible.


This started a wave of strong words between the assembly members of the two parties. the mqm members started raising slogans when the sindh information minister sharjeel memon tried to address the house. — online
