Australian PM Confident of Finding Missing Malaysian Plane


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) ala Lumpur April 11 - Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott said Friday he was very confident that search teams have finally detected signals from the Malaysia airlines plane which has been missing for more than a month. The Prime Minister told reporters in China today that they have narrowed down the position of the black box to within kilometers of a particular area of the Indian Ocean saying there are some doubts however over whether the pings are in fact coming from the black box of the plane in question. The batteries powering the devices' black boxes have a 30 day life expectancy and it has been more than a month since flight MH370 disappeared. More peculiar than where the plane disappeared is how it disappeared; on March 8 the plane Kuala Lumpur to Beijing carrying 239 people. After two hours in the air the plane simply disappeared of the radars never to be seen again. There were no traces of a wreckage or an explosion
