Saudi- 5000 faulty AC units confiscated
(MENAFN- Arab News) Ministry of commerce officials in jeddah confiscated more than 5000 air conditioners being sold in the black market for half the price of regular acs during ad hoc inspection raids on home appliance stores on arbaeen street in jeddah

Inspection teams will continue to inspect shops and commercial centers selling unauthorized appliances in jeddah he said
The sale of old air-conditioning units has increased to record levels in the black market thanks to low prices despite the fact that many consumers have reported higher electricity bills after using these second-hand appliances
