Qatar Chamber Moroccan Delegation Discuss Joint Cooperation


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) ha April 09 - A meeting was held Wednesday between Qatar Chamber for Commerce and Industry(QCCI) and Moroccan Minister of Equipment and Transport Aziz Rabbah and the delegation accompanying him to review cooperation and investment opportunities between the two countries. "Qatar and Morocco have distinguished ties that are steadily moving in light of the support and care of the leaderships of both countries towards the creation of a more constructive cooperation between them which was clear in mutual visits between officials of Qatar and Morocco" Rabbah said. The Moroccan minister briefed the meeting on Morocco's strategic geographic location and the benefits the government offers to encourage investment. He also spoke about the touristic sites and projects that Qatari businessmen can invest in and the fields they can explore namely: tourism agriculture and construction. He said Morocco is working on developing its business environment through legislations laws and tax deductions that encourage investment stressing the importance of reactivating the Qatari-Moroccan business council as it plays a significant role in maximizing cooperation between business owners in both countries
