(MENAFN) As part of Iran's plans to boost trade ties with neighbors, it has announced recently its plan to strengthen ties with Azerbaijan Republic, according to Iran Daily
The announcement was revealed by the Iranian Communications and Information Technology Minister Mahmoud Vaezi in a meeting with Azerbaijan"s Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov in Tehran
Data from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan show that trade turnover between the two countries was estimated at USD281.03 million in 2013, which is 6.13-percent higher than 2012.
