(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) scow April 09 - Russia appreciates Jordan's tangible contribution to settling complex processes in the Middle East Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with King Abdullah II of Jordan. At the beginning of the meeting held in the city of Novo-Ogaryovo Putin cordially welcomed King Abdullah II to Moscow saying that long-standing relations between the two countries were based on friendship and mutual understanding Russian news agency Itar-Tass said. "We appreciate your contribution to settling complex processes in the Middle East" President Putin said. The two sides will discuss bilateral co-operation and the situation in the region in their meeting today
