(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) ibouti April 09 - Djibouti National Education and Vocational Training Minister Dr. Jamea Alami Akiya met here on Wednesday HE Qatari Ambassador to Djibouti Jassim Bin Jaber Jassim Sorour. Talks during the meeting dealt with bilateral relations and means of bolstering and developing them. It is noted that Djibouti is a small country in the Horn of Africa. It is bordered by Eritrea in the north Ethiopia in the west and south and Somalia in the southeast. Djibouti has a population of 905500 people. Its annual economic growth rate was around 5% between 2007 and 2009. Djibouti ranks 164th out of 186 countries in the 2013 UNDP Human Development Index. Djibouti joined the Global Partnership for Education in 2006 after the appraisal and endorsement of its Education Sector Plan 2010-2019
