Kuwait- Police nab Iraqi infiltrator with 31 kilograms hashish


(MENAFN- Arab Times) An Iraqi expatriate was arrested for attempting to illegally infiltrate into Kuwait through its borders, carrying 31 kilograms of hashish. According to sources, Abdali border security team was patrolling the border area when they noticed an individual trying to enter Kuwait illegally. They arrested him and checked him to find 31 kilograms of hashish. He was referred with the item to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him



2 held with drugs: The Jahra police have arrested a Kuwaiti and a bedoun for possessing narcotic pills, reports Alam Alyawm daily. The suspects who were arrested at a police checkpoint have been referred to the concerned authorities. Police have seized from the men hashish and money in local and Gulf currency. Meanwhile, two Kuwaitis - 42 years and 56 years respectively - who had been arrested for possessing drugs, have been handed over to the General Department for Drugs Control, reports Alam Alyawm daily. The suspects were arrested in Jleeb Al- Shuyoukh
