Kuwait- 12 securitymen test positive for drugs, alcohol


(MENAFN- Arab Times) The names of 12 securitymen have been sent to the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Lieutenant Suleiman Al-Fahd to take action against them, reports Al- Rai daily. The daily added, the 12 men were caught by the members of a team - during surprise inspection of officers and other personnel of the ministry and its affiliates - which has been formed upon instructions by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Mohammed Al-Khalid. The daily added, a random blood sample of 150 personnel was taken and 12 of them tested positive for either drugs or alcohol



Four caught drunk: The Ahmadi police have arrested four people - three Arabs and a Kuwaiti - for drinking alcohol. They were arrested in Al-Julai'a, reports Annahar daily. Police have reportedly seized from the men a bottle of booze and narcotic pills. During investigation the suspects said they had been to a party. They have been handed over to the concerned authorities
