Bollywood has come out in full force urging the citizens and especially the youth of india to vote during election day that falls on april 24 in mumbai. but not many seem to have noticed that the iifa awards is on from april 23-26 in florida usa. hrithik roshan deepika padukone farhan akhtar shahid kapoor vidya balan priyanka chopra madhuri dixit-nene kareena kapoor ranveer singh malaika arora khan sonakshi sinha and bipasha basu are some of the a-list names who are expected to attend the show. with all of them serving as role models for the youth of india and at a time when many stars have been constantly urging citizens to come out and vote during this election it remains to be seen how many of them will be around to actually cast their vote.



Will srk give preference to uae?


Continuing from election day in india and iifa shah rukh khan’s schedule is a lot more packed than that of others. apart from iifa and indian elections there is also the ipl match between his team kolkata knight riders and royal challengers bangalore that takes place on april 24 at sharjah cricket stadium uae. shah rukh has garnered many nominations at iifa this year for his film chennai express. right now it is not clear whether srk will be present in india the uae or usa. though we can pretty much guess where srk’s heart might be we’ll just wait for the official announcement from his team.



Nepotism rules!


In the next few years star kids will be flooding the film industry like never before. the recent lot which comprises of alia bhatt varun dhavan arjun kapoor and shraddha kapoor etc have made their mark. the next group comprises of tiger shroff (son of jackie shroff) athiya shetty (daughter of sunil shetty) sooraj pancholi (son of aditya pancholi) akshara haasan (daughter of kamal haasan and sarika) and harshvardhan kapoor (son of anil kapoor). aamir recently presented tiger shroff in front of the media. aamir’s young son junaid one hears is keen on turning director but aamir was heard saying that junaid is not yet sure what he wants to do. there are rumours that karan johar will be launching sridevi’s daughter janhavi in the coming months. this inflow of star sons and daughters will be the biggest in the history of bollywood.



Hide and seek continues


Deepika padukone and ranveer singh have signed on to play lead roles in sanjay leela bhansali’s bajirao mastani. the hit jodi of ram-leela will hopefully once again hit the bull’s-eye with this intense romantic drama. and even as the whole industry is aware that they are seeing each other the duo continue to keep mum. recently deepika was spotted entering ranveer’s van when he was shooting for a condom brand. knowing very well that the media would be present deepika spent a great amount of time with him. we wonder what kind of game they are playing with the media now.
